She's a solid, safe pick for Biden. Policy wise for black people? I don't know what she brings to the table.
A couple observations:
1) Come Supreme Court pick time all the Native Americas, handicapped people, lesbians, Asians, etc. will come out in force saying black women already got there's. A Supreme Court spot is WAY more valuable than this...
2) She's gonna have her hands full wading thru all this Trump garbage. Would've been better hanging back as Attorney General, implementing some real policy, then coming back strong as the "presidential candidate who brought justice back to the department". Basically what Nikki Haley is planning to do.
3) Biden had the tenure and relationships to be an excellent, wheeling-and-dealing behind the scenes, political VP. Few can measure up to that.
4) Unless Biden steps down or dies, her becoming president is not a sure thing. I don't think she can win national a campaign.
