I don’t think the VP has to be from a swing state. I’m just saying that she doesn’t even have that going for her. Biden is already strong on foreign policy. I don’t know what she’s really bringing to the ticket.

I did a deep dive on her son. There is a really long article on him from 2017-2018. Cliffs

• He and Rice have a good relationship
• He’s been a conservative before Trump but supported Obama and has a relationship with Obama
• He went to Stanford at the time of the article and a lot of the MAGA stuff came off as trying to be a conservative voice on a very liberal campus.

I’m not excusing him for supporting Trump even though I think that’s more an outlet of 45 being top of the ticket. The article is the most in depth think I could find and it’s 2-3 years old, the MAGA stuff may not be where he is. Him supporting Trump over his mom seems very unrealistic based on how the article portrayed their relationship from his and her accounts.

Point being I looked into it deeper than the photo and at a minimum him campaigning against his mom seem really far fetched.
