I think they are aware of it but I don’t think across the board it’s that important to the general public. COVID, economy, BLM, healthcare, etc. have pushed that to a lower level of importance.

Eh, that's an extreme position to take. I don't think anyone thinks Biden will "die" or "resign within his first term. But everyone is in agreement that he won't run for a second term. Which is why his VP choice is basically a "President in training" assuming they can actually win the 2024 election. Which is still a concern I have with the choices.

I don’t think anyone in a sizable number didn’t vote for Clinton because of Kaine.

Tim Kaine wasn't the reason Hillary lost. :yeshrug: But it obviously wasn't a pick to meld a party divided over the primary and excite any part of the base.
