:dwillhuh:You all do realize this VP pick is critical, right? Biden is likely to die/resign within the first term. The VP will basically be the de facto President until they officially take over. I believe the general public is well aware of this.
I think they are aware of it but I don’t think across the board it’s that important to the general public. COVID, economy, BLM, healthcare, etc. have pushed that to a lower level of importance.

Eh, that's an extreme position to take. I don't think anyone thinks Biden will "die" or "resign within his first term. But everyone is in agreement that he won't run for a second term. Which is why his VP choice is basically a "President in training" assuming they can actually win the 2024 election. Which is still a concern I have with the choices.

How do i put cash? i wanna put all the chips on rice looking at the news articles and the fact biden wants someone he can trust and can rely on leans to rice imo although the betting markets have harris still as the favourite

I don’t think anyone in a sizable number didn’t vote for Clinton because of Kaine.

Tim Kaine wasn't the reason Hillary lost. :yeshrug: But it obviously wasn't a pick to meld a party divided over the primary and excite any part of the base.
