She don't take no shyt. She tough. What do you like about Susan Rice? She is way too hawkish for me. I also don’t think she is that great of a speaker. Not trying to be argumentative I’m legit curious.
Man, stop it. She's too much of a hawk, she has no deep connections to the Black community, the GOP will bring up Benghazi on her and finally, her son is a Trump-supporting Republican. What's wrong with you?She don't take no shyt. She tough.
So who are you planning to vote for?I'm currently out on Biden meaning I won't vote for him, but if he were to pick Warren as his running mate that would sway me a considerable amount into biting the bullet
The list is narrowing.
we talked about this weeks ago and somebody, @intra vires possibly?, laid out all the reasons why this is actually not an issue at all.Warren's VP bid faces obstacle: Her state's Republican governor
I didn't think about this. Massachusetts has a republican governor. U can't fukk around with that Senate seat. He may have no choice but pick Harris
If she's chosen and resigns before June 23rd (?) then, it would be six months of a Republican in the seat (assuming the legislature doesn't change the law). However, her seat would be on the ballot in November. You could tell Kennedy III to leave Markey alone and he'd easily win Warren's seat.
Edit: MA legislature could make it so the governor's appointment has to be someone from the same party as the vacating Senator (AZ, MD, NC do it this way). Or if they think Baker could still hustle them, they could go the Hawaii route and make the governor choose from a list of three candidates provided by the party of the vacating Senator.
No oneSo who are you planning to vote for?
I thought so to, but judging by polls and observation, Elizabeth Warren may actually be the strongest VP choice in terms of black/minority support. Two old White people at the top of the ticket wouldn't be a good look either. It's a tough decision .
Those polls are largely name recognition. They shouldn't be discounted but they also shouldn't be taken as gospel.I thought so to, but judging by polls and observation, Elizabeth Warren may actually be the strongest VP choice in terms of black/minority support.
