"believe women", for one, is a hashtag, which foolish as those can be, are essentially hyperbole, or rallying cries, they aren't meant to be taken "literally", whatever literally means anymore.
What it meant, was listen to the claims of women who say they have assaulted, don't disbelieve them right away, as they were for years. Nuance is often lost on twitter users, of a certain kind.
Some of this has the edge of smear, some is reasonable. She always seemed like a weirdo, who you would avoid in parties, or in line at the coffee shop, she has that look of deranged about her. She was living in a yurt in nor cal? Of course she was.
This is nothing like Blasley Ford, who I thought was entirely unimpeachable in her character and conduct.
