This should’ve been bushed the moment the AP published this:

During one of the April 2019 interviews with the AP, she said Biden rubbed her shoulders and neck and played with her hair. She said she was asked by an aide in Biden’s Senate office to dress more conservatively and told “don’t be so sexy.”

She said of Biden: “I wasn’t scared of him, that he was going to take me in a room or anything. It wasn’t that kind of vibe.”

Choosing another nominee would guarantee the win.

Sticking with Biden is going to result in misery.

We didn’t want him in the first place and this is a chance to replace him.

Democrats need to be able to assault Trump on his character. Biden allows Trump to muddy the waters.

No idea.

And ‘we’ is a lot of people.

Beating Trump should be a layup. Just like the last election. And at the same time, Biden feels more Al Gore/John Kerry/Dukakis while also being barely awake.

I don’t think Joe is guilty (of this). I also don’t think Dems can afford to depress the Me Too/“believe all women” part of their base. Not unless Biden is planning on going hard for another demo of the same size.

We is not the majority. Obviously.

Beating Trump is not a layup. Beating any incumbent isn't a layup especially not in a political environment as polarized as ours. Trump still has 40% of the electorate that would vote for him even if he sentenced half the country to death.

If those women's votes were depressed, the Democrats' internal polling would show it fairly quickly. I haven't seen any change in polling for Joe since this popped up, so I doubt things are changing much internally.

Agreed. My views do not represent the average voter. And beating an incumbent is tough. Which is why Dems shouldn’t be lulled to sleep. Based on the crisis at hand and Trump’s performance thus far, plus all of his other accumulated baggage, he should be tanking dramatically. There’s a lot of time between now and November.

Who is we? It certainly isn't black people.

Anyway Biden wasn't my preferred candidate but he is clearly the one that Democrats supported and voted for it's time to move on.

See above. And I am going to vote for him. It’s bigger than him. Unfortunately.

Trump let 72,000 and rising ppl die, economy in tha toilet, told ppl to inject bleach into their bodies is PLENTY to assault Trump with.

Agreed. I have doubts about our (greater America) collective ability to remember this come Election Day. The weather is about to turn. The numbers will go down. Trump will have time to spin before the fall comes around and we get a 2nd wave. He might even take credit for reopening the economy, regardless of the businesses that are about to go under and people evicted or die afterwards.

We will see. I hope I’m wrong. It’s tough to beat the guy with bully pulpit and the WWE fan base.
