I'm currently at a wits end. I'm stuck in this Non Profit job pulling in 45k a year. A normal day for me is 3 trains to East Harlem. Now that I'm working from home, it's all type of micromanaging and extra tabs and spreadsheets so they can "track our time" I'm grateful to even have a job at this time and I jus got accepted into a cyber bootcamp so long term I plan on getting out of this field. There has to be some jobs that are paying more with less bs. I have a bachelors degree for reference and I'm 26

If you don't have a felony. Sign up to insurance carrier like progressive, USAA, Geico, or liberty mutual.

For degree holders entry level pay is usually around 53k. 60k after one year for most.

Look into Liability Adjuster
Auto Damage Adjuster
General Claims
Property Adjuster(Homes)
They will pay for your state license to adjust claims(which you keep).

Most of these companies pay a bonus as well.
So for entry level you are hitting 60k immediately.

Work can be hard depending on the person.

Once you get experience you kind of become specialized and can branch into other divisions of the insurance industry.

Some perks they give you company car and you work in the field.

There are adjusters who can clear 100k during catastrophe season. Think hurricanes, tornados..etc. Every year theres a season. Somebody has to work the insurance claims.

MTA Storeroom Stockworkers current top pay is 37.28 (77.540.33 base) a year with overtime I've seen them routinely top 140k easily.

Needed: High school diploma & being able to lift 50 lbs.

Obviously we make more as supervisors but we won't be seeing any rasies anytime soon.

The program was really unprofessional, they kept telling me I wasn't submitting assignments on time. Ended up leaving and after a series of jobs I'm now a recruiter at a firm. Make more but want to leave that as well, I heard tech is oversaturated and as a recruiter I see 100 applications a day for tech jobs so I know it's quiet. Unsure of what to do now but i finessed my role by watching youtube, reading books on recruiting and changing my resume around.
