writing. despite whatever slang and shyt I use to type on here (usually from my phone), I spent about 7 years doing sports writing/marketing/pr type stuff. I used to be an assistant sports information director for a local college out here.
well u fuked up, you should of held on and let them fire your azz and collect that checkI've basically always had a job since high school. Just jumped from one to the other, but never had a period where I didn't wake up on a Monday and have somewhere to go and earn money.
Well tonight I resigned from my job (I feel I was going to be terminated soon for poor performance). I wanted to go out on good terms and my own terms, even tho I know it means I wont be collecting unemployment.
I have a ton of experience, but no degree, which kind of worries me. I have a lot of friends who are always looking at hooking me up at their companies, but still it's scary being out there with no steady income. I have enough saved up to pay my mortgage/bills and stuff for several months, so I'm not worried about being out on the street, but hte way things are right now you never know
Anyway just wanted to vent a little to my coli brehs. This has been weighing heavy on me the last few days. Anyone in a similar spot right now?
well, i dunno if you're trying to go in a whole other direction but as a writer, there's gotta be freelance shyt you can do to float you until you find something more permanent, no?
But if you actually know how to do what you put on there then
