I'm not defending anything. You read the post above, I feel the same way as you. I haven't seen this myself and I got two kids but your experience is yours and I can't deny that

That's not a good teacher that chastised your son. But the world won't always agree at times and things won't always be easy. I don't think they had to endure anything too bad there by the sounds of it. Hopefully they weren't being mean about it - no context there from you which is fine

This all seems very anecdotal... Getting questioned about not putting pronouns on a form, okay and then what happened? Did you do it? Was this a random member like you or someone in charge? Were you kicked out? Or was it just one uncomfortable interaction you had to deal with as a result of this extremely relevant issue. Have your daughters had to deal with anything? Report back when they do - hopefully they don't of course

I listened to the women in this thread and was respectful, I just disagreed with them - nice to see some Coli chivalry keeping me in check there lol

NOBODY cares.

They simply AINT women and we don't fukk with this shyt.

You're in this thread concern trolling and trying to run interference for a bunch of transformers "Jk iS lIKe ElOn". MISS US with the BULLshyt and take yo ass to Transformer event.

She's 100% fighting culture wars, and this reeks of a personal vendetta she has. She turned the dial up to 10 on being the face of this issue. This is beyond whatever wave of feminism she identifies with. She is a WARRIOR in this fight

She's in the X trenches arguing with randos day in day out over this, instead of writing cheques and directing others to pass legislation, policy etc

I don't necessarily disagree with some of what she's saying either, but this is a big show she's putting on, and she's happy to hang her legacy on this issue which is bizarre to me

I guess you think Elon Musk is also doing all this bullshyt out of the goodness of his heart??

tbf, they went at her HEAD and made it personal. Damn near tried to exile her from her own creation. At that point, it'd be every bit personal for me.

also @Lemons and @Gloxina thanks for sharing your experiences, no matter how harrowing. I'm in tech (and a dude) so I don't really have to deal with this as much, nor will I ever have to. So its good to get some proper insight on this, especially as the people I know in healthcare either A. Are for Trans stuff B. Men or C. Both

Some women’s empathy runs so deep it becomes defective.

We are obsessed with “keeping the peace” and “just being nice” even to our detriment. Men are inclined to be selfish and territorial, they wouldn’t allow their spaces and terms to be colonized and compromised under any circumstance.

At first, I thought these trans people were weird but I truly didn’t care. It wasn’t until they started making demands, compelling speech, demanding we see them exactly like women, that I started waking up to the bs.

I’m glad JK put her foot down. Someone of that caliber needed to. Idc what anyone says, I am out here in the field and I have seen with my own eyes how administrative behaviors have drastically changed to accommodate these people to the detriment of women, I won’t be gaslit about it not being a big deal. This is how everything starts. You start giving them inches and they’ll expect the mile, then you become H*tler when you tell them no. It’s time to nip it in bud STAT.

People should've never allowed those people to guilt trip them into this nonsense.

We're not bigoted for saying a man isn't a woman.

I remember having my wisdom teeth pulled, all four, and afterwards I was so high that I stumbled into the woman's bathroom by accident. My guazes were bleeding through and I already had to replace them. A woman my age came in and was :merchant: when she saw me. I was :merchant: too that she was there until I realized I messed up so I left quick. Shorty looked highly uncomfortable. Now imagine if I had a wig on and said I identified as a woman eventhough I'm built like a running back. She'd have to deal with it. It's not right that women are having their spaces invaded.

Thank you for getting it.
