Morrison had that white privilege mentality.

Morrison's defense wasn't his issue. It was the fact that he couldnt get any kind of separation at all and his range was vastly oversold.
After Luke Walton hit him with a crossover so thorough that his knee was shattered, Ammo had nothing left to give to the league.
I'm sure Kobe will give him the credit he deserves as the driving force behind those two Laker championships though.

That draft was just... a lot of headaches for a lot of teams. We didn't draft Roy because of his knees (which did eventually implode). MJ wanted Rudy contrary to popular belief, but all the great white hope and Bird comparisons left us with Ammo.
I still think he could've been a solid pro. He just got hit with a lot of hurdles real quick and never got the chance to recover or breath. Plus he was a dikk. So fukk him either way.

With the emergence of Curry/Thompson.. and future stars like Towns and Ben Simmons, he need to get on the beige brotha bandwagon while the getting is good. 1/2 white is just as good.
Morrison was better than Redikk in college, and he was looking like a good pro heading into his 2nd year. ACL injury ruined him.
Same number as Hakeem too, who is infallible on this site.
