now the script is being written by Lawrence Kasdan the gawdgonna be, they are making the first movie focus on han, leia and luke

I wouldn't have minded any of these, but I don't think Neil is ready for a franchise of this magnitude. Joss Whedon would've been a good choice and Guillermo would've been a risky pick but I really would've liked to see what he came up with. Again, in my opinion, I want a seasoned sci-fi director at the helm, Guillermo has at least done some fantasy stuff and I think he'd translate well into that genre. There's only a short list of directors that I think could pull it offthey played it safe.... i cant blame em but still...
