Dr. Dre made 100 million last year: Yea the big homie winning in every way imaginable

That only leaves Henchman, Orlando and Biggie (?)
Well if you know one or another thing about violent criminals, you would know that they rarely make it without going to jail before turning 47. What happened to Orlando is about 10000 times more common.

There you go, so only one person on that list is actually doing better than a dead man...Pac still winning from the grave

it wasnt yayo it was his man and dude is dead. shot n killed 2 weeks after his release for slapping henchman son. jimmy still has to go to trial for that murder next

It was Yayo

The NYPD is investigating the murder of 32-year-old Lowell Fletcher -- aka Lodi Mack -- to see if it was a retaliation hit in a New York rap rivalry. The Bronx man was gunned down only two weeks after being released from prison. Police believe the slaying may be related to a 2007 assault case, when the reputed Bloods lieutenant took the fall for rapper Tony Yayo, a member of 50-Cent's G-Unit.

In that incident, police say Fletcher and Yayo encountered the 14-year-old son of rival music producer Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond of Czar Entertainment, who was wearing a T-shirt from his father's company. And since these guys are huge pussies, Fletcher pulled a gun on the kid, while Yayo backhanded him across the face.

But after Yayo was arrested, Fletcher claimed he hit the kid, and ended up doing two years for assault and a drug charge. He was ambushed by gunmen two weeks after making parole in a desolate New York neighborhood...

Police aren't sure who killed Fletcher or why. A punk who pulls a gun on a 14-year-old kid for wearing the wrong shirt is bound to have a lot of enemies.

"He pled guilty for another guy, for Yayo," a unnamed cop told the New York Daily News. "And the kid's father is a pretty big guy in the music industry. So the case might be connected to him, or to 50 Cent and his boys, to get the heat off of them."

But considering the neighborhood where Fletcher was shot, it could be all or none of the above. "On Jerome Avenue, it could be lots of reasons - or no reason."

jimmy will probably go down as the biggest criminal kingpin in hip hop history.....jimmys silent demeanor nikkaz just drop dead approach made suge look like a girl scout. only nikka up there is maybe j prince but j prince wasnt blatantly picking nikkas off in the industry like jimmy was.
That "girl scout" merked the nikka in your avi with no fukks giving and isn't even serving time like snitch boi jimmy :yeshrug:

Going overboard again sportispice.

come on, we all know that people love 2Pac because he had this whole larger than life thug life persona, something that was blown way out of proportion.

People loved pac because he stood up for himself. People loved pac because he was by far one of the most HUMAN entertainers to ever be in the public eye. To chalk that up to some simple minded shyt like people idolized him for doing crimes is inaccurate. That fits somebody like Jay Z than it does pac.

Pac wasn't brave, he just got involved in negativity and died for it.

:stopitslime:

He ain't get got in NY because he was being negative, he got got, by henchman's own account for NOT BACKING DOWN same thing with the second shooting being that years down the line you have one of the shooters admitting that they were already paid and was going to kill pac whether it was that night or the next...you have a completely unrelated incident where he busted his gun for an innocent AT cops regardless of if he knew they were or not...and then walking. People idolize that kinda shyt, not his rap sheet.

what behind-the-scenes bullshyt? i know you don't buy into this secret society, Pac was being real and he died for it silliness.

For one...there's always a middle ground between the shyt that gets hyped as conspiracy, it's always some building blocks of truth and some misdirection as well.

We can speculate a bout whether the government would, could or has used cointelpro tactics on musicians (they have). But this "behind the scenes" shyt is beyond speculation..it's a fact that people like henchman have been extorting artists since the game became the "game"..and just like cointelpro theoretical/conspiracy fodder at one time, it eventually came to light.

Of course you could reply with some sarcastic, dismissive shyt and probably will but really think about what was being said on this album assuming you've listened to it in some degree of depth. The martyrdom aspect of the release wasn't some half cocked concept where he was whining about people picking on him. He took it upon himself to do and say shyt that nobody else was going to, especially someone with his platform.

There was no "smoking gun" website in 96, nobody outside the game knew this was going on and nobody other than pac was going to say something loud enough for people to hear it.

Henchman snitching? hearsay and speculation (the exact same thing you'd say about a certain other artist who is constantly rumored to be working with law enforcement).

what we DO know is, Henchman was REALLY a criminal, something these people idolize 2Pac for.

Again nobody idolizes pac for being a fukking criminal. Saying he had a "bad boy" or typical rap image is one thing, but pretending like the Pope plays his songs at the Vatican because of his criminal prowess is fukking absurd. And I think you know better, it just doesn't sound as cute and snarky as your original talking point.

i don't find it cool to look up to either of these people. however, people need to make up their minds and not be hypocritical.

There is nothing hypocritical about having love for one of the greatest voices/artists in hip hop and in the same breath being glad that one of the main people fukking up the culture behind the scenes is getting his just due.

I'm not going to be the dumb nikka in here cheering "pac won!"

While I think that for most people it's more of a playful/funny sentiment, pac's win really comes along with the fact that as crazy and paranoid as nikkas tried to make him seem, the recent revelations surrounding the shooting, puffy and henchman just make what he was saying that much more potent and really shows why he had the conviction to put his head on the swivel.

As for him being dead...death ain't shyt...Physical death in and of itself is a loss that we all have to take. It's plenty of nikkas still breathing that are dead inside. He was going to die anyway, he at least died saying what he believed to be right ,even knowing before hand that it could get him killed, people like that live lifetimes...25 more years down the line people will still be talking about 2pac, regardless of how you feel about him.
