thank you. This gives dimension to his power. When you got the feds hands off on your crimes and you are the connect to make all of these hood nikkas get money, id walk around too like a GOD.

:ohhh:

I never heard of this part. When/how/under what circumstances did Suge get disciplined in Miami?

Napoleon(Outlawz) said that's why Tupac checked himself out of the hospital.Pac was getting calls to his hospital room "nikka you ain't dead yet? We coming to finish you off"

The FOI was working as security for Pac, but he didn't feel safe because they didn't carry guns.

According to Napoleon, he appreciated the FOI's efforts, but Pac told him "I know the type of nikkaz I'm dealing with"---Supposedly them nikkaz was living super lavish--had their own helicopters and shyt

I'm not talking about money, I'm talking about the fact he always had someone in his life who cared for him and made sure he didn't end up in the streets. Pac went to the Baltimore School of Performing Arts for God's sake. nikka was way more well off then the nikkas I know from the streets. And it's not about believing or disbelieving, it's a fact that Biggie sold drugs, Biggie has been arrested for selling drugs before. His Mom found drugs in the house numerous times too, but that's besides the point

Tupac went to The School Of Arts---that's true, but it was only for one semester.People act like because you enroll into an art institute, you had a privileged upbringing.NOPE---He got in because his mom is brilliant with the mouth piece.Got the gift of gab, something crazy. She basically talked them into accepting Pac, but they were still poor as fukk. His classmates used to donate him clothes because he only had one pair of pants and a single wife beater.Jada Pinkett said Pac lived in a house with no electricity/or furniture---there was just a single mattress laying in the middle of the living room. She said he was "dirt poor".On top of that, he moved to Oakland CA during the height of gang culture with no crew/family links established.MC New York with the gumby flat top had to have had a target on his back.B.I.G, on the other hand, actually had a somewhat privileged upbringing. His own mom will tell you that. She made good money and they lived in a 6 bedroom apartment.Big NEVER went hungry, but that's probably obvious. If you look at their upbringing, Pac's background actually entails "street dude" more than BIG's.He was born into an organized gang(Black Panthers), family members either shot dead or thrown in jail because of cointelpro...mom addicted to crack and running from the law...faced real poverty.Like i said, Big grew up in a 6 bedroom apartment where mom's kept his belly filled. All that "sardines for dinner/one room shack" was fabrications.

He probably became a lil nickle & dime hustler because his friends were doing it and he was intrigued by the lifestyle/image----not because he was impoverished/starving

I'm not even trying to shyt on BIG...I like Pac's music more for different reasons, but BIG is the most incredible mc i've ever heard spit.I grab a bag of popcorn and a coke everytime I listen to N i g g a s Bleed

I posted this before & watch from 17:40-18:50. Snoop pretty much confirms what's been said about the situation with the Quad incident at the end.

@FreshAIG is right about the 7k Tupac wanted in cash when he that convo with Henchman about the guest appearance he did & money owed to him. Him telling Henchman eff you set the situation off not Big. Pac knew exactly who was behind him getting disciplined. He had fair warning not to roll with these guys yet made the decision to roll with them anyway. Big was caught in the middle & couldn't do anything w/o putting himself or his family in danger because Henchman had that kind of clout.

No apartment in Brooklyn is that big, especially in a Clinton Hill tenement.

When they do exist theyre very rare, and very expensive.

Plenty of huge apartments in Brooklyn. I don't know how many bedrooms his apartment had though. I imagine that Big grew up like my cousins. They live down the street from Tompkins projects in a 3 story brownstone and they always had every video game system and madd games. Basically spoiled but living smack dab in the middle of Bed Stuy right down the block from the Jects.

Breh, a SIX bedroom apartment is rare in brooklyn, and you only see it now because of gentrification. Thats the space of an entire brownstone.

No, its not happening. I know the building big grew up in
True true 6 bedrooms sounds exaggerated. Don't matter really.

I'm talking about in Brooklyn in general, you paying a lot for rent depending on where you live. Some two bedrooms be over 3K now

yeah the prices you pay to live in an unrenovated Fort Greene brownstone you could actually live in the West Village.

cacs took Fort Greene from us:mjcry:
