I'm saying, can you imagine The walking dead and Game of Thrones being the shows we as early teens were waiting to see weekly, year after year? Being off from school on Saturday and literally not having Saturday morning cartoons to hold you down until the afternoon. My Saturday's as a kid were problem more packed than my sat's now. 6:30-10:30 I was booked from Dragonball z till X-men and pirates of dark water...even when the weekends started falling off and SBTB the college years started coming on. And after that it was either go outside, video games, or the mall.

Now kids get up on sat and get straight on the computer facebook/twitter/ and instagram.


TGIF was pretty good wholesome entertainment all packed into one time slot at primetime. Good luck finding that now.... You really don't realize how much more violence and sex is on tv until you really sit back and think about it.

Even worse, too much sex and violence is on TV during prime time hours when young kids are still up. Seems to me everything fell apart after the early 00s when reality TV blew up.

But this throwback skit is just great in every way.
