I know people think it's contract year shyt, but rarely do dudes increase their numbers across the board like this in contract years. They may post better scoring numbers but you'll see a dip in their FG% and shyt, this dude has increase his percentage by 10%

Last year his offense was shyt but his defense was still there. But he was hurt all year, playing next to Kirk Hinrich and Mike Dunleavy. I figured that being healthy, playing next to a healthy Rose, the addition of Gasol and other offensive talent we'd see him at like 14ppg with 45%, but dude just took it to another level.
If we could've locked up a dude putting up 22/6/3 on 50% with the ability to knock down jumpers, slash, beat people off the dribble, finish, score in the post with elite defense for 12M a year

Jimmy proves that just because you have been in the league a while that you can still become a much better player than people anticipate you to be. His ceiling went from being Bruce Bowen with better offense to possibly becoming the best shooting guard in the game eventually if he keeps improving like this.
That's how good Jimmy Butler is. The Bulls are winning the chip this year. No doubt about it.
