it's not Square. There would have to be about a 20-30% mark up to make Shareholders happy.

Microsoft buying Activision for $95 a share was a steal. Last year Activision was trading at $104/share and only dropped because the scandal at ATVI. The CEO sold because he wanted to leave with his pockets fat and they were gonna remove him anyway.

Activision was starting to dominate console, Blizzard was dominating PC.. They merged and made more money than ever. Squaresoft and Enix merged when they both were the biggest in Japan.. You never know...

i think they would have to buy kadokawa which they're already a minority owner of. It's not out of the realm of possibility, im not sure if its a good buy just for Fromsoftware though.

Sony should go on a shopping spree with the Japanese developers, From, capcoma and Square, add take two to that as well
