If the nba was told not to bring women refs for a exhibition game. The media would kill them.

It’s just the Wwe can get away with a lot of shyt that other companies can’t . Wrestling is in its own bubble. It’s 2018 and there has never been a black champion. Nobody cares enough to make anything out of the fukk shyt by Wwe
The rock counts. Booker t won the world heavy weight title they count that too. But as far as all black top guy no that hasn’t happened yet.

But if anyone criticized the nba for the same thing then I would say the same to them. People are ignorant just cause there would be backlash it doesn’t mean they would be right. Saudi isn’t America it’s not meant to be disrespectful

Get over it or stop supporting the product. Vince had a choice; support the women's division, which is just a marketing project by Steph that churns out a few good matches per year, or take hundreds of millions from the Saudis to do a couple of shows there every year for the next (ten?) years. You all knew what he was going to pick. Money > morals. I guess the nice thing to do would have been to pay them but this is Vince McMahon we're talking about here; nice for what? :heh:

And JR was just tip toeing around the obvious so his words couldn't be used against him down the line. The response was stupid, but that stupid response won't come back to bite him in the ass later. There's nothing usable there.
Implying the women somehow could have "earned" their way onto the card, and they didn't, and that's why they didn't go to Saudi Arabia, is all pure nonsense, really insulting, factually incorrect, and also a particularly stupid thing to say given the situation with women's wrestling in WWE AND the oppressive Saudi culture AND the pro-women movements happening in our own country.

So no, that's all definitely usable, hence this thread being made. I'm also curious to ask what was the obvious thing you say he was tip-toeing around?

Jim is certainly not an idiot, very knowledgable on the business. Since he's been back with the WWE you can see there's a little more bias now towards WWE, like he's part of the team and tries to defend them whenever possible, it's made his podcast a little less interesting too, before he used to critique them more freely, he plays it much more safe now.
