He was obviously setting up his TV deal and saving those match ups for his OWN shyt
Regardless of why Lampley went in, Al deserved the scorn for the fights he put on in 2014. I get that he was holding his guys back for his NBC deal but since I am not Al's business partner none of that shyt matters to me. All I want is good fights and Al did his best to not deliver those in 2014.
But I am giving him props for what he has planned for 2015.:hayking:
Al's moving boxing to NBC also puts Lampley's rant into a different light. Although I would have expected the rant to come from Espinoza more so than Lampley. HBO and Showtime heads looking at Haymon like, "you fukkin up the game breh."
but how does that benefit me, the boxing fan, who wants to watch good fights against the best competition? because me, the boxing fan, does not care about the business or any of the other bullshyt unless it leads to fights i want being signed. haymon failed miserably on that front in 2014. This is coming off the great year that was 2013 so it was an unacceptable drop in quality. No excuses for them struggleheaders that were on my big screen TV. I would have respected this move more if he had more confidence in the fighters he advises to put in work in 2014 instead of coddling them. The rare fights that were great that he put on in 2014 were by accident like matthysse-molina or floyd-maidana 1. I applaud this move as a step in the right direction but he's going to have to put in work 2015 and if needed co promote to get the best fights available

haymon is the best thing in boxing right now, competition isn't even close, all top rank ppvs have been shyt not just in 2014 but in 2013 as well
what was wrong with Floyd and Maidana PPVs, especially the first one it had broner on the undercard, which automatically makes it better than most undercards
since when have undercards ever been meant to be show stoppers, it's either prospects dominating inferior competition or shytty ass 12 rounders
we buy PPV for the main event, both Floyd and Maidana PPVs were better than any other PPV of the year, so what is there to complain about
The september struggle header lol it was FREE, Broner and Taylor was the main event what was wrong with that lol
Stevenson already said he's willing to fight kovalev what more do you want, the light heavyweight division isn't exactly stacked, other than pascal
Golovkin fought inferior competition, so did Wlad, bernard hopkins and kovalev wasn't even a fight
