THE CLAIM WAS $7 PER CD
AND NO CDS WERE NOT
SELLING FOR $9.99 IN 2006.

CDS NEVER LEFT THE $12-$20 RANGE
UNLESS THEY WERE ON SALE.

I BOUGHT CDS ALL THE WAY
UNTIL THE MID 2010S.

Even $7 a cd is outrageous

I swear I bought Nastradamus for about $9.99 in 1999, when I was around 14. Sam Goody and places like that charged more, but Target and major wholesalers were selling them cheaper. I paid like $19.99 for Vol. 3 around that same time, but it was at Wherehouse music.

I LITERALLY SAID UNLESS
THEY WERE ON SALE.

IF YOU CAME BACK 2 MONTHS LATER
TO BUY THAT SAME ALBUM
I GUARANTEE IT WAS $9.99 ANYMORE

THAT WAS A RESULT
OF SOMEONE TRYING
TO BOOST THOSE 1ST WEEK NUMBERS.

When did he even say that? The $12 comment.

I want to say it was 2006 or 2007. When 50 and others was trying to clown their record sales and being on Koch.

Cam was saying things like Jim Jones make more money selling 400,000 copies than Lloyd Banks make selling 2,000,000. Which was probably true but at some point someone in Dip Set threw out a number per album that was ridiculous. Like the label wouldn't even recover the cost of pressing and distributing the album.

Listening to the video he included touring and never said "in 2006/07" or "in a year".

I can believe that number if we stretch out that song giving him (semi-) relevance for 4-7 years. On its own merit no.

That was a "the movie went platinum", "I'm turning down scripts with Jennifer Aniston" Hell Rell type statement.
