I compared jones to diddy. They just have an ear for talent and hits.

You know what I always wondered....if he wrote his own verses. I know max b did his hooks but max never said he wrote his verses. Cuz from the Ryder's muzik mixtape to about when he broke up with max he had some nice verses In between the . His flow was off on a few tracks but he had a nice little run. And def was one of the first east coast artists to get shine with west and southern rappers.

smh, Max and Bundles woulda brought back NYC, they shoulda been under Cam's wing instead reinvigorating the movement. If Cam had them two and added A-Mafia it woulda been a 4th quarter Dipset resurgence.

I agree with the OP. I fukks with Jim Jones heavy, always have. He has some great 16's here and there, but his talent is having an ear for other talent and production ( except on the prey 4 reign album, garbage sonically.) hes overshadowed by who he is supposed to be to most "cam's weed carrier/mr.balling" but he can hold his own, has his own sound. The vampire life tapes are a step above the prior stuff IMO. his best stuff is the tracks influenced by max B and stack bundles. Stack bundles was the real kicker to that group's dynamic if they were ever going to make it mainstream.IMO, Jim jones prolly will have his solid fan base on the east coast but not as big as he may dream. NYC riding hard with him and the VL hood brand. Regardless of who people know him as, if you listen to his discogprahy from the first features on Cam's a;bums ( track of note being DO it Again on SDE, his 16 was the best), to his album release, on my way to church, you get a genuine representation of Jim Jones as a personality. Skip pray 4 reign except the NOE tracks. Vampire Life mixtape serious is on point, some of his best work out.

camron fell the fukk off. i say it happened after SDE (his best album, by the way), but others might argue it happened after purple haze. either way, that nikka's discography is NOT better than jim jones'. jones has not dropped one wack album/mixtape ever. cam has dropped several.
