Btw this company that you’re praising for being black owned is pandering to all races. If you really want to see black owned labels and designers that are pushing fashion while making sure to display the importance of strong AA and African representation through their work check out the Griggs brothers, Harun, Omondi, Ozwald Boateng,Brownstone, etc.
No shyt!...and ain't nothing wrong with that....he still shows love to his black roots by also being a recognized street wear label...his products are quality and he has been recognized for it....Jordan Bentley is the creator and owner...look him up....

exactly.....it is backwards

Majority of our black acts that went platinum over the past 3 decades couldn't have done it without sales from across an array of different backgrounds and races

I'm a blackman with an LLC and I'm meeting with a videographer today to draft plans for a commercial to market my brand to various demographics

And I see nothing "c00nish" about that at all

Recognized by who? Sorry to break it to you but, no one is checking for hypland. Just by looking at his IG and website, the brand is doing nothing we haven’t seen before.

If you like dressing like a mannequin out of DTLR then cool, but don’t try to act like this is a black owned brand that’s on the rise, and then use a hoody with flags from the motherland as your proof that he’s showing love to his ”black roots” when he’s doing the same lame ass layout for each continent - like the one from Africa is setting him apart :childplease:.

Did I say sell, or pander?

This dude tried to sell hypland in this post as a black owned brand that was on the rise and hit me with “:mjpls:” because I didn’t think a hoody with patches from different countries from Africa looked good :childplease: .

I got no problem with the designer selling to other races, my problem is with dude in this post trying to sell the label and designer as something that it isn’t.

So it worked.

He was the popular product (at the time). They put their brand on him (in the form of a T-shirt)

Jim should’ve negotiated the terms up front to partner in if saw that vision...

It’s so many small start up clothing lines out here sending their products to artists lol... it’s still going on now
Are you seriously this stupid?

nikkas take everything literally nowadays

this is just like the flipside of a nikka saying "your check is in the mail"

Don't mean it's literally a check on the way

Supreme was already well established by the time they worked with Dipset.

It's just that rappers weren't into it yet.
