So. Cal
Raiders might have a coach that players want to run through a wall for.
Broncos have a solid Defense and the team was improving towards the end of the season
Chiefs still have a MVP level QB and solid defense.

The chargers have old star players, not ready young players, and salary cap issues so bad you'd think Trump negotiated the deals.
And all of that resulted into nothing. A bunch of potential. Not a tough division. Yall some weirdos lol

Afc west had 3 team with losing records. One of the worse divisions but the coli will be the coli :dead:

Yup.

Justin Herbert will be 29 in 3 years from March (older than Mahomes right now).

That means you got 3 years to get to the Super Bowl or fans will say you too "Wasted Herbert's potential" as they see the arm strength fade.

Sure, you start with a franchise QB, but you also start with insane expectations and a timeline in a division against a legendary QB and HC combo.

Plus you play 17 away games each season.

Those other coaching jobs don't have the same expectations as long as you're not a perennial 3-5 win team.

1-2 years ago, that would've been the ideal time to take the Chargers job.

However now, Atlanta and contesting the NFC South is a much better landing spot to be honest.

The shyt yall post is :mindblown:

This is like saying the AFCE is a tough division when Brady was there or NFCN was a tough divsion when Rodgers was there. No one ever said those fukking words. They actually said the opposite. Now all of a sudden the AFCW is a tough division??? :dahell:

Yall just saying any hot take and run with it :dead:

If you're trying to win a SB or even go to one, yes you basically need a winnable division. Teams very rarely make a SB without winning their division.

This is still a shyt hot take. U dont need ti win the division to make the SB or win it.

Nothing u can say can make a division with 3 losing teams a tough one. Afcw is weak.

Norfeast groovin…
I’m sure he’s just checking to see what the bag looking like. A better coach for the chargers is Ron Rivera or someone equally as washed up :ehh:

That’s the point genius, it has the potential to be a war zone next season if Pierce comes back, Payton and the Broncos cut their losses with Russell, and the chiefs get some real wide receivers.

The chargers job is such a trap job that I expect it go to some great black coordinator that they fire once he digs them out of the hole they’re in.

I mean the Broncos and Raiders are still not gonna be shyt if they don't upgrade at QB
Broncos moving off Russ purely for financial reasons, Jarrett Stitdham ain't no damn upgrade

Best post on the reality of the roster:

Naaaaah stop the cap, I'm sure you mean well and all but I watched these bums play and we got one starting caliber cb, no linebackers worth keeping, our best player on defense probably needs to be traded while he's still worth something to accelerate the rebuild (khalil mack), bosa needs to be moved at all costs, and the interior d line sucks. There's a disconnect between even most of the chargers fan base and the reality of roster imo and the reality is this was a panthers tier roster by the time mid season rolled around (injuries). Okay maybe not that bad but winning 5 games in a season where herbert played most of the season and when you have the most expensive defense in the league should tell you all you need to know.
All that, but you have "win now" expectations as you enter Justin Herbert's prime.
That's what this coaching job is right now: you got three years to make the Super Bowl working with that because you got your QB.

This a goofy ass post. This is the NFL one good draft and one good off-season and your roster looks completely different. Especially if you have a quarterback position already taken care of.

Easier said than done

A good as draft is the tricky thing and it's not guaranteed. If it were that easy, many teams would do it. This franchise has been looking for that one good draft for years. The one good offseason is tricky this year because of the contract situations.

There's also a very real possibility the two players (MHJ and Nabers) who probably are the most impactful they can draft won't even be there at 5 or they goof it up anyways sticking to true Chargers tradition.

Goof it up. What? What the fukk are you talking about outside of potentially last year? The team has always had hits in the first round so I have no idea what the fukk you're talking about. Herbert, Slater ,Derwin James bosa, what the fukk are you talking about?

Come on man, Herbert was the pick everyone knew was coming because we were going to move on from the Rivers era.

Bosa and James started off great but they're fading and the former is getting old and injury prone. The latter also has faced significant injuries so who knows.
Slater needs to show he can stay on the field (freak accident though last year so I'm not going to blame him). I do think that was a great pickup. I also like Tuli.

Overall though, this team is old, needs work and last season wasn't all on Staley. The OL is additionally a big question mark. The roster is a big part of why they're in this position. This ain't a team full of world beaters by any means. The 5th worst record in the league isn't all on coaching. Harbaugh or not, whoever takes over got their work cut out for them and they have limited time to do it before fans get impatient.
