Its actually rather cowardly in my opinion because Jim read the script, read the violence and said, yea, ill take that check but then when its time to promote he says *no, i cant the movie i got paid to be in is to violent*

Why do people get offended when a person tries to change their thinking for the better? I mean in general. It's like we're supposed to be the person we've always been and can't ever change. I don't know if it hurts people's self image to see someone leave a certain way of thinking in front of them or whatever...but it's like just because a person once did something they can never stop doing it without a boat load of criticism or being somehow labelled a hypocrite
