So having perfect pitch does not qualify you as an amazing singer, Kirk Franklin also has perfect pitch. It simply means that your call and response game is on point and you can play or recall tunes perfectly without any information. It also means you get bored quick. I'll leave the rest of your post alone because I've already covered it if you bothered to read any of the other responses. Feel free to share anymore of your misplaced outrage though, cuz I think this is good for the youth. It's ok to like songs written by a songwriter who isn't the best singer, it's quite refreshing.

Your ears are confused my dude. You're making a bad point. Yes, A 7th grade choir teacher can have perfect pitch and not be able to "sang"....but we're talking about a great VOCALIST in Stevie Wonder. A 7th grade choir teacher teacher can't hold a concert of 50,000 ppl and have them singing along to every song.

I'm no Stevie fan like that, I probably dont have a whole album on my ipod, but to say he can't sing by any standard is asinine.

If you don't like his adlibs/runs, then say that.

nikka...got me dying saying that Stevie can't sing... :mjlol:

and I got love for Jhene :noah:but she needs to drop the "ratchet chick" act. She seems more like the nerdy/hipster type, but her vocals aren't her strong suit. She's good at writing, crafting songs and melodies.

The point I'm making is that Stevie live is not as good as album Stevie because he's all over the place live. You're stretching me thin man to make a point cuz you took exception, I get it, but lets not act like Stevie live isn't horrible at times. I love Stevie, that's the reason he was probably the first name that popped in my head, hell if I was white, I may have made the same point using Johnny Cash instead of Stevie. Not to compare the two, but I'm sure you get my point, if not you'll probably next say that I'm comping Stevie to Johnny Cash lol

Breh, I feel you in regards to post 1998 Stevie, I can't stand hearing him at award shows. It amazes me how far astray his vocals have gone from classic stevie

That's the thing right there.

She's dope to look at, but she can't sing for shyt. I don't know why she got all caught up in her feelings but it's probably because she knows she's wild limited with the vocals. She's been able to get over. So she should just ignore whatever's being said and be grateful she's cute and just keep making whatever music's she's gonna make.
