If they really wanted Rodgers wouldnt it be better to hire the OC only if Rodgers agreed? Like tell Arod that if he wants to be on the Jets they'd get Hackett.

Hiring someone to an important position to only be bait for one old qb is some dumb shyt.

You would think this yet the Denver Broncos did exactly this by hiring Hackett as their coach just a year ago lol

These GMs and owners are desperate and dumb as fukk

Crazy how he gets fired one season deservedly and then immediately gets hired as if he showed something great without Rodgers. We may be wrong but Jets may have taken a step back here, they really need to have Rodgers now and hope they can connect like they did in Green Bay, let's also not forget Rodgers was throwing 95% of his passes to Adams with success during Hackets time

The amazing part is, this is now his second job in a row he's gotten because he was the OC for Rodgers for a second, and we STILL don't know what the fukk it is he did in Green Bay. He didn't call plays, based off of what he put in the field in Denver, he didn't seem to be all that capable of designing a good offense, and he wasn't enough to close the deal on getting Rodgers.

This motherfukker is Adam Gase without coke eyes. :mjlol:
It's like inviting someone you can't stand to your party because you're hoping he brings his cool friend who always has good weed.

Failing upward isn't exactly what's happening here as this is definitely a worse job than being Broncos HC
But it's definitely quick after that disaster in Denver. I mean how can you hire someone who managed an even worse offense than the Jets last year?

Yes it is.

He’s shown he was a fukking joke in Denver only to get a job while the season is still going on. It may not be a HC or GM gig but for him to have shown how incompetent he is & immediately get another high paying job a couple months later should be considered falling up.

Hackett was the OC for the jags when Saleh was the linebackers coach. They have a prior relationship. I don’t think it has much to do with Rogers. I don’t even think Rogers fuks with Hackett like that tbh

:pachaha: Knowing how some of these teams think, they would probably panic and think some other team would go after Hackett, so they would then get desperate and rush to bring him in BEFORE getting an agreement from Rodgers. :mjlol:

And they are fools to begin with for even assuming Rodgers even fukks with Hackett like that without confirmation. :laff: :jordanfacepalm:

Hackett didn't call the plays for GB but he was OC when the Jags went to the AFCCG with Blake Bortles at QB so I guess you gotta give him some credit for that.

From what Rodgers said it seems like they had a good relationship in GB.
