Agree with breh earlier said, this season is much better paced (not finished yet)

Havent felt like it dragged yet.

The side plots are more interesting this season too.

Malcolm doing PI work >>> him recovering

Trish being a bully addict >>> her relationship with Simpson

Even Jessica flashbacks/backstory >>> her playing nice with Killgrave

Just finished it, bit of a mixed bag really. did not want to know JJ life story, a little mystery never hurt nobody. First 5-6 epis were ardous

Netflix/marvel need to step their game up we just saw luke have to fight his brother. Now jessica meets her mother? Since when has jessica gone or needed a support group? So soon after punisher at that is just lazy. And speakin of which 3 months ago we just saw a final episode culminate in an amusement park and low and behold they do it again, come on..

Kind of hate the way all these groups are hijacking the civil rights playbook. They basically saw what luke cage did pertaining to black lives matter and said lets do that with metoo. Thing is Season 1's main story covered rape but it wasnt executed like topical commentary it was a well thought out story.

Positives - I like that these shows introduce actors you never heard of and re-introduce ones u thought were retired. Rebecca De has still got it she cracked me up
Jessica's mother was really great never seen her before such a compelling performance.
Trinity as well knocked it out of the park but her storyline with the bandits was bad. Her living with woman, getting duped so easily, the lesbian angle tacked on and then the way she easily dealt with it :snoop:
Trish was good too but her getting powers is a bit excessive I dont care that she has it in the comics it could have been held off. They dont seem to have any other power aesthetically than enhanced human abilities so it just looks repetitive.. Surprised racheal taylor cant shake her aussie accent, shes been in murica since transformers and australians dont have much homegrown programming as 85% of their tv is US imported.

Was glad tennant's stay was brief he seemed different this time like he was tired and bored. The way he kept appearing was like a gnat and not in a good way at all.
They did a great job redeeming malcolm for a moment there he was shaping up to be a unik
All in all it was a decline from season 1, i dont care too much about action but i want suspense or a thriller and the few times there is action I want it to be gorey or harrowing. We got that in spades 2 y ago, this season not so much. In the first 5 episodes we had a lot of long scenes with a lot of meandering dialogue. Okay its not a superhero or action show but i didnt ask for somethin akin to big little lies either.

They brought it home in the end thx to stand out performaces but i wont be jonesing for a s3 like i was for s2. Would have to put this at #6 just above iron fist and defenders:francis:

all of these marvel shows should be 10 episodes. outside of DD and Punisher they get way too drawn out at the end.
This is an antiquated view point, if the last 2 shows are anything to go by they are now starting these series at an agonisingly slog(ish) pace only to finish the last half at a normal one
White Feminists are often anti black. Feminism, if practiced correctly, is very pro-black. pro-black woman :ld:
as long as the dominant society is caucasian that will never happen. Like were there white feminists protesting for rosa parks? I never heard a peep out of any cac bytch all the years aung san suu kyi was locked up but i digress

so you're telling me you don't think the last 3 episodes of this were drawn out way too long?

It felt long because you werent engaged and were probably bored to answer your question no. My problem was with the first 5 or so episodes. Felt like there couldve been a more riveting way to get to where they were going. Punisher was also guilty of this but at least we were often rewarded with brutal violence. With this it was just a lot of girl chatter mixed with exposition
