DD and Punisher the evil feels more raw...the villains more sinister...the stakes and life and death more relatable and poignant and sad. The fight scenes more brutal. Look how fleshed out Kingpin and Billy Russo were.

Those two are in a class of their own.

JJ, Luke Cage and Piss Fist just seem like an exercise.....like how soon you gonna win....no suspense.

Personally I felt very attached to David Tennant kilgrave and Mike Colter as Luke Cage in the first season and I felt that I really viewed Jessica from their perspective... I feel this season's better paced and the secondary characters are less irritating I'm glad they got rid of the noisy neighbor woman... it's simply just a less compelling story arc watching a woman confront her Tormentor and abuser is a lot more narratively capturing then watching a superhero deal with the organization that gave them their abilities.

This feels more closely tied to the larger MCU just the way the story's told

Just seen the end of ep2
looks like they took the negative reaction to nuke hard. What a waste i never understood what the problem was. Isnt the character part of DD's born again?
It's actually been good so far. it feels like more tension filled than season 1 like every episode the nerves get higher and higher. it feels like a mystery noir thriller set in modern times...
:what: you are such a lyin piece of shyt. Unless things radically change up on ep3 right now and sans the end of the 2nd its just been very pedestrian with the mystery surrounding jessica, trish's casting couch crap and hogarth's s/l that has zilch to do with the titular character. By the end of the first episode of season 1 we were left at the edge of our seat with a suicide which got the ball rollin on the evil presence purple man was. S1 was dark, bleak and had an air of macabre this season has no atmosphere, is dripping in feminism in an unsubtle way and is just boring

No fuk what you are talking about. There is like 0 tension to this. To say this is more tension filled than 2 years ago with purple man is just asinine.

Dude yes the tension is NOT as extreme as it was with the purple man correct but there's still tension within these first episodes being WE didn't know who the killer was and seeing how strong and crazy she was when she met jessica at the bar... Also by episode 6 when the big reveal happen the tension kinda dropped... :beli: It's called building suspense.

So take it how you want it... :stopitslime: I gave the coli my opinion and you gave me yours, you don't agree with my dissertation that's your fukking problem...:camby:
