yall have short memories. nobody wanted the gay cowboy either.
bad comparison on so many levels, for one as overrated as he is nolan is a totally different director to snyder.Ledger didnt just walk on to the set and pull a depp (with jack sparrow) nolan and writers set the tone/blueprint to make it happen., Snyder isnt a 10th the visionary.. Four feathers/monsters ball showed heath's acting chops so the capability was there ppl just wanted the stink of his gay role to leave.Other than social network (which worked in spite of him) jesse eisenberg hasnt shown anything.Hes not going to suddenly not sound like an adolescent geek or stop looking like a weasel. We know we are getting a snot nose whipper snapper lex with a action oriented director with :patrice: vision to boot. Its lookin like a wreck

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
:dwillhuh: Expectations really, really low at this point. It has been horrible casting, like they just said F it.

Marvel has or has had every actor/actress on lock. I mean I realize that actors can appear in DC and Marvel films, there's no exclusiveness there, but look at all of the big names that they've snatched up at one point or another...

  • RDJ
  • Samuel Jackson
  • Natalie Portman
  • Hugo Weaving
  • Anthony Hopkins
  • Idris Elba
  • Robert Redford
  • Michael Douglas
  • Bradley Cooper
  • Scarlett Johansen
  • Michael Rooker
  • Djimon Hounsou
  • Zoe Saldana
  • Chris Pratt
  • Chris Evans
  • Chris Hemsworth
  • Jeff Bridges
  • Mickey Rourke
  • Ben Kingsley
  • Tommy Lee Jones
  • Stanley Tucci
  • Anthony Mackie
  • Toby Jones
  • Don Cheadle
  • Gwyneth Paltrow
And that's not even going into the Marvel properties owned by Fox and Sony. WB is definitely scrapping at the bottom of the barrel for actors at the moment.

Exactly, this is so true. WB could at least cast for body type and persona and make a star out of a decent actor. I didn't know who Chris Hemsworth was when Thor came out, but he looked like Thor. It there anyone that has read a comic book or seen cartoon over there? Is M. Night directing this?

So casting an Oscar nominee is scraping the bottom of the barrel now?
And no one knew who the fukk Chris Hemsworth was before he got cast as Thor unless you watched Australian soap operas.

Yeah
Why? If he don't have on the power suit or have his own temporary superpowers then that's usually what happens.. he whips out the kryptonite in the same fashion Batman does.

The problem is that the movie from 06 did it in terrible fashion... first off the damn iceland was filled with kryptonite crystals AND he ended gettin stabbed with 1 and a kid saw him and got him saved.... come to think of it, him gettin jumped at the end was the only fight in that movie and it wasn't even a fight smh

At this point, I'm just gonna wait as I have no clue where they're going with this... you've got 2 humans in Batman and Luthor in the movie who both have a history of fighting Superman with kryptonite and no kryptonite has even been introduced yet which means most likely they're gonna have to introduce that PLUS they're gonna have to jam in partial back stories on both Bats and Lex PLUS Wonder Woman and whatever other villain they got in store.
Wonder Woman is supermans cousin in the new movie.

Y'all not using your eyes.

The Easter egg was in MOS.

Most people knew him (at least I did) as Kirk's dad in the opening of the Star Trek reboot because he killed that role.

I knew of Hemsworth before Thor due to his small part in Star Trek. I think he will grow as an actor once everything is said and done with Thor. He was great in Rush. I also personally think Eisenberg is one of the most overrated actors in Hollywood. I hope he's able to show some charm as Lex because he sure as hell hasn't shown it to me yet in any roles that he has played. Maybe when I see The Double my mind will change a bit.

I thought they confirmed that that rumor was bogus... that's essentially the Amazons descendents of Kryptonians plot.

If they're gonna stretch this out like Marvel is doing, why give Wonder Woman Supergirl's origin?

I'll be pissed if that random ship belongs to Diana
