Something that keeps being said is that The Breakfast Club is like Eastside High School. That sounds toxic as hell. More than likely that workplace is unprofessional as hell.
Again, no one appreciates the educated, calm chick until they replace her with a chick like this.
Again, no knock to Jess, but she isn’t build for normal workplace tension/drama. None of this should’ve played out on social media. This is ghetto as hell and why some Black folks keep their distance when some Black folks join the team. No one wants any association with someone who behaves like this in the workplace.
Gotta be strategic and plan your exit in moments like this.

Reality is Jess wasn't good even before her maternity leave. In the tryouts she had some good episodes but you could already see the lack of preparation compared to someone like Claudia Jordan. It's clear to anyone listening that Jess does not give a fukk, for better or worse since sometimes it's that mentality that makes her funny. The way she would struggle through Jess with the Mess reads made me question if she actually wrote it.
Her job should be protected though. Loren is clearly more prepared, researched and skillful in journalism and sometimes more funny than Jess, but you can't force someone out after their maternity leave. They should have let Loren go as soon as Jess came back, then assessed once Jess deal is up. I don't know who runs the show but I'm sure Char and Envy have the pull to make whatever they want happen there, so I get Jess' anger.

Envy really ended it when he told Jess what she did was corny and revealed that they had private convo with him letting her letting her know that if she feels any type of way about anything to come to him so they can fix it, she ignored that advice and ran to the internet
