"
WEAKNESSES
Fails to consistently bring hips and feet with him through contact in the running game, causing him to fall forward and lose balance. Hand usage is a major concern. Hands will start too low in pass pro at times and has to work hard to redirect. Change of direction is slow for a tackle. Relies on lunging rather than foot movement to counter inside moves. Plays high out of stance and loses leverage battle on short-yardage confrontations. Will have to move to right tackle or inside."

from cbs

"
He does not possess elite balance and can be challenged by speed-rushers. He'll over-compensate occasionally and leave the inside open for counters.

Collins' aggression is admirable but also leads to mistakes. Rather than patiently waiting for defenders to come to him, Collins will occasionally lunge, making himself top-heavy and prone to slipping down the body of his opponent. This can lead to his hands getting too low or slipping onto the side and/or back of defenders, which invites them to swim over the top of him to disengage."

WalterFootball

"Weaknesses:
  • Needs to improve his technique
  • Doesn't bend well
  • Can struggle to create movement in the ground game
  • Inconsistent
  • Future position?" but yeah i'll take your word for it because you watched some LSU games:rudy:. It's not even like im trying to hate on him either. He's just not this superstar Oline prospect like ppl are try act like in here. I've said a couple times now, its great for him that he went to a stacked line where he's not gonna get thrown in as a starting tackle or be depended upon early. He'll have time to work on his many flaws and i hope he succeeds after the bullshyt he got put through.
Pretty one sided there. Why not post the strengths as well?

NFL.com
STRENGTHS
Thick through chest and displays upper-body strength. Has strong hands and will snatch and control less active defenders. He takes defenders for a ride once he's engaged on the move. Loves to mash and intimidate opponents. Mean player. Can center pass rushers and end their attempt in pass pro. Utilizes length in pass protection and is acclimated to a pro-style offense. Able to run-block and pass-set laterally. Well-schooled and technically proficient. If he gets beat on a play, he comes back even harder on the next snap. Finisher. Can come in and play guard or tackle.

Will see what Gregory becomes dude is undersized and you have no idea if he has any coverage skills. I'm not going to front he might be a pain in the ass rushing the passer, but he's horrible to downright laughable against the run. We can't wait to run against him. Brandon Carr was a great signing for ya'll dude is pretty much the answer for Cruz, and I guess ya'll hoping Jones can cover OBD. But I hope he turns out to be a bust like Claiborne. All in all may the best team win
you see this shyt? this is why I call the giants fans on this forum the dumbest fanbase on this site.

seriously, where did you pull this from?

he is terrific against the run considering his size. he plays with really good leverage and technique. I have no concerns about his ability to play the run even at his college weight. despite his weight, he's incredibly strong. he is a complete d-end.

watch the video from 7:30-10 min and gain some basic football knowledge.

Because the argument being made was that i was just making up these weaknesses, so i picked a couple reputable sources to back up my claims. Also it's not like im acting like he's some terrible player who is destined to fail.

Complete d-end? He's fukking 235lbs, he's a pass rusher and trash against the run fukk nikka.

ESPN's Todd McShay ranks Nebraska edge rusher Randy Gregory as the No. 1 available player heading into Day 2.

"He's the most physically gifted edge rusher in this class with outstanding first-step quickness and length, and surprising power given his lean frame," McShay wrote. "His inability to add and keep weight is a concern, as is his off-field history. He'll need to get stronger against the run. But he can be a difference-maker as a pass-rusher if he does what he needs to off the field." In an updated Day 2 mock draft, CBS Sports' Dane Brugler slots Gregory to the Washington Redskins at No. 38: "At some point in the second round, Gregory's talent becomes worth the risk and Washington could end up with a steal at this point."

ESPN NFL Insider Jon Gruden says that game film shows Nebraska edge rusher Randy Gregory can't stop the run and reminds us that "Melvin Gordon ran for 400 yards against Nebraska when Gregory was on the field."

"This bothers me when you are taking a guy in the top 10 or in the first round who gets stuck on blocks," Gruden wrote. "If I am coaching against Gregory, I want to tell our quarterback to stop the game, audible to 96 stretch, and run it right at No. 4 and see whether he can stop it." It isn't just Gregory's run defense that concerns Gruden. The analyst is also a little spooked by the failed drug test at the combine, his checkered collegiate career (committed to Purdue and had to go the JUCO route due to ineligibility) and struggled with injuries at Nebraska.

shyt is common knowledge, fukking bandwagon fukkboys football IQ is laughable. No wonder most of your fanbase consists of hoe nikkas fairweather fans who root for the Cowboys, Bulls, and Yankees. Don't ever disrespect me my G

There’s also plenty of talk around the league that the 235-pound Gregory simply isn’t big and strong enough to handle NFL offensive linemen and will get pushed around in the pros. Jon Gruden said on ESPN that when he watches tape of Gregory, he sees far too many plays when Gregory fails to stop the run.

“When I watch him stop the run, when I watch him for 75 plays a game, there’s too many plays I don’t like,” Gruden said. “It really bothers me when you’re taking a guy in the Top 10 or the first round who gets stuck on blocks and oftentimes gets pancaked. You’ve got to stop the run so you can rush the passer.”

La'el Collins is a talented O-Line but this pickup is for two or three years down the line. The kid was a mean streak a mile wide, but he does so at the cost of his technique. Plus he has a tendency to over-commit to his blocks at times which makes him a liability in combo blocks and certain blocking schemes. He's raw but he'll be a contributor for a decade if he stays healthy.

man you are dumber than a box of rocks..

from his draft profile on nfl.com:

ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS
Tall with long levers and a lean, sinewy build. Batted down four passes in 2014. Stronger than expected at point of attack. Able to lock out and stay square against big offensive tackles and can whip most tight ends. Unhinges and gets tentacles on running backs bursting through gap. Room for more thickness on long frame. Competitive and shows toughness against run. Can chase and limit outside runs with speed. Secondary motor to stay in hunt downfield as tackler. Explosive hips. Gets instant change of direction to hound quarterbacks in play-action. Played standing up and with hand in ground. Rushed occasionally from ILB spot. Stride and second gear for quick close. Has bend and hips to convert speed to power. Showed improved timing and understanding of how to set up inside pass-rush move as season progressed. Hands are a blur. Explosive play traits to overwhelm technically deficient tackles. Can counter and recover from cut blocks. Flashes plus hand-feet coordination. As blitzer from ILB, will coil and explode into guard on contact step. More than tough enough. Willing to take on pulling guards with low pad level and aggressive pop.
BOTTOM LINE
A 3-4 outside linebacker with the length, toughness and closing burst to immediately help a run defense.
Gregory could stand to add more weight to his frame and needs plenty of technique work and a patient coach for his pass-rush skill to match his traits. Gregory's draft stock has been clouded with a positive drug test at the combine to go with failed tests for marijuana while at Nebraska. High-ceiling, low-floor prospect.

i don't like doing all that copying and pasting b/c i can easily post a scouting report that discounts yours and vice versa. that's why i posted the video for your peanut head but you obviously too lazy to watch and learn. while you were playing stickball in the street like a homo, i was putting on the pads as a yg in texas so your football knowledge will always be inferior to me. for example you keep referencing his weight like you making some kinda point not knowing he played in the mid 250s last season but he got a virus before the combine which made his weight drop. and fyi, our S&C coach has SIX SUPER BOWLS, so he's about to get his swole on real quick this summer. say what you want but i know you're shook...
