The Rock could hop on twitter, call out Jericho and Kenny to make a triple threat, HBK could ask to ref the match, JR and Jesse Ventura could do the PBP, Meltzer could host the press conference and the neckbeards would still find reason to bytch.
It's like they take offense to actually being surprised & entertained, fn marks.

I mean, there's no way a puro promotion was going to say no to a guy like Jericho if he was available. They salivate over WWE garbage, if a WWE star can get booked I imagine Gedo almost lost his shyt
But I still think Ibushi vs Omega was a bigger match for the Dome and it would've drawn better. This will give them more US exposure for sure but I baffled they don't try to make Kota their next biggest star, is such a waste for their business in Japan.
The promo got a great reaction though, that's good

As I said in the puro thread. You can't use the "Ibushi can't commit long term" when you are giving his spot to fukking Jericho who's definitely not staying long term nor has the upside Ibushi does.
And they didn't need AJ Styles to commit long term with them and he got a huge push. New Japan had Ibushi on contract for years and didn't pull the trigger on him.
Now he's back and they refuse to at least make the most money out of him while he's still working with them. Worst case scenario he sells out a couple of shows while he main events, he leaves for a while, you use him to put someone like Jay White over and then he comebacks and keeps making money for you.
Now he's facing fukking Cody

I feel like the difference is that its wwe and no one main events mania unless it involves cena or reigns against a part timer and of course punk was a favorite that most people believed he should main event mania.
