That match is just to ease the transition. The rematch will be at Mania...

This is so awesome :wow: 2018 will be a GOAT wrestling year

I haven't even seen the Okada vs Omega matches, but I can tell that on a physical, athletic level, this will be below those matches. It's not 2000, Jericho moves like a man who's almost 50 now.

It can still be a great match, but it seems like people who like New Japan like it for the speed and athleticism. Just pointing out that you might not find it with this one, brother

I don't think fans really care though. I think most are excited due to dream match actually happening when its relevant and others are happy that New Japan is getting bigger names and more attention. Hell, I am actually happy that the talent is actually taking back control its been years but they're starting to use there power and leverage which is a great thing for the industry in the long run.

I definitely like the idea of wrestlers seeing NJ as an option to jump to, that'll only help things.

I mean, there's no way a puro promotion was going to say no to a guy like Jericho if he was available. They salivate over WWE garbage, if a WWE star can get booked I imagine Gedo almost lost his shyt :russ:

But I still think Ibushi vs Omega was a bigger match for the Dome and it would've drawn better. This will give them more US exposure for sure but I baffled they don't try to make Kota their next biggest star, is such a waste for their business in Japan.

The promo got a great reaction though, that's good :ehh:
