smackdown has been a bad show for a minute now.
raw has been awful for well over a decade.

theres much better shows on than those.
and im not even on the AEW bandwagon.

and if we're talking about the network stuff, which is usually the best the WWE has to offer;
205 live was the best show in wrestling last year, imo. but this year its been shabby.
NXT is more about the takeovers.
NXT UK is cool but theres better shows out.

That's your opinion I have to respect it..but my only point is, people grade wrestling shows on a curve. If the matches, stories and characters on last years 205 live dominated RAWs main event, I don't think people have as positive a reaction to it. People have higher standards for RAW than they do 205 live - so they praise things they would probably take for granted if it ended an episode if RAW.

if people actually had high standards for Raw, it would've gotten cancelled a decade ago. instead its been the highest rated wrestling show for about 20 years & counting.

people hold the WWE to the lowest standards. don't fall for the fake outrage. its usually just WWE stanleys who don't watch anything but the WWE, putting too much focus into their product. its not really the guys who watch other promotions heavy. we might call a spade on the WWE's product but we're not the ones dwelling on it.

Despite all of the mediocre content WWE has put out, until recently it still monopolized wrestling so of course the ratings would reflect that.

WWE has the biggest crowds, biggest stars, biggest budget, best production value...of course it has higher standards. RAW in particular.

I don't disagree with any of this, I'm not a WWE fan. Infact i predict Dynamite outdraws Raw in the ratings at least once before 2021...
