- the introduction of aquaman and atlantis
- the introduction of flash
- the introduction of cyborg
- the introduction of the main villain
- the introduction and setup of darkseid
- the formation of the justice league
- possible (probable) batfleck subplot
- possible (probable) wonder woman subplot
- return of superman
- lois lane subplot
- possibly more lex
- at least 2-3 extended action set pieces
