Ken got a lil lucky tonight, no hate. He hit on 2 daily doubles and doubled his money there and then was able to double it again off the final Jeopardy. James was killin him in the second round. He went on a crazy run...

but Ken deserved it the most. He was great through the whole series. Brad whatever his name is had an embarrassing showing the whole way. They was even crackin jokes at the end :russ:

that’s how all these games go. It’s the same way the second game last night went for James, but he failed on Final. :umad:

Searching for DDs is the strategy, he who finds it is at a great advantage. Even if you can’t get it right, just getting it off the board keeps you from getting obliterated by it. Ken was dominating without the DD the first game, then the DD pushed him way ahead, and he sealed it with final. Ken and James were neck and neck in the second game until James caught a well timed DD...then he fumbled the bag in final; that was the difference.

Ehh james was killin it in round 2 I guarantee he answered more questions through both rounds but that ain't the game

I assure you, you’re wrong. James was not “killing it” any more in game 2 of match 4 than Ken was “killin it” in game 1 of match 4.

At the end of the single jeopardy round in game 1, Ken led James 12,800 to 4,400
At the end of the single jeopardy round in game 2 James led Ken 8,200 to 5,600 (and this included Ken missing the DD, luckily for him it was early in the round). No way you could argue James killed the single jeopardy round more than Ken killed his single jeopardy round.

Like I said, the DDs are the key, that’s why they search for them. Particularly in the Double Jeopardy round, cuz you have more points to risk/gain. In game 1 Ken led James by 2,000 points just before getting his key DD:

In game 2, James led Ken by just 400 points just before getting his key DD:

So like I said, they were neck and neck. You’re wowed by James’ big score but his score was only higher in the second game because he was fortunate to find the DD later in the round, with more points to his name, not because he was “killing it” any more than Ken did in the first game.

So again, they pretty much played the same game cuz that’s how all these games go, the big difference is James choked on the Final :umad:
