Cari was always an embarrassment. Serious self-hater for years, if you paid attention. But Jemele was cool, until she started getting a little more shine for certain comments. Then her whole shyt switched up and she became mad annoying. They probably don’t even know how foolish they look on this show. And that's the problem.

That's the main part I had a problem with. I don't know why they didn't feel the room, see that joke didn't land, and keep it moving. All the great interviewers and comedians eventually say something that doesn't land. But they stay great cause they have good self awareness and keep it moving to the next bit.

That shyt they're doing right there is why they'll fail in the long run. Cause when he called them out on repeating their stupid joke question, they went into self-defense mode - "Why was that question stupid?!". Why linger on that? You shoulda had a ton more questions and material to move on to till you got something interesting outta him.

And sure, maybe he'll back down not to offend you, but in the long run nobody's gonna watch your show if you can't see how bad you come off.
