Dude was too connected in entertainment, politics, federal agencies, law enforcement, etc.
They couldn't unleash all the dirt, because he has dirt on just about everybody.

Yeah I turned it off after like 20 mins of the first episode. Not interested in only victim anecdotes. His story deserves a much deeper dive.

but seeing faces of the victims, hearing the stories, hearing how the empire worked, how he prayed on girls from poor broken homes in their own words.
it's definitely worth watching even if you know the story i think.

my biggest take away so far is that maxwell might actually be more fukked up than epstein.

To me this is a perfect example of white privilege. He goes to Cooper Union, doesn't graduate, then somehow lands a job teaching at Dalton?
Ok fine, whatever....then he lands a job at Wallstreet, lies about his credentials (like most cacs do) gets caught, but he "sells" himself to his boss and keeps his job, furthering his connections, increasing his wealth/status/power
Now look, I'm not into victim shaming but I am into calling out stupid behavior...This one woman thought she was being paid to be a masseuse even though she was being flewn out to different countries and abused multiple times according to her, and still went along for the ride?
The one girl from Spain force crying at the beach talking about "I met him one night, the next night he wanted to pay for my education, rent, take me to his private island etc etc " and you thought nothing wrong from that?
Then the multiple women who said "this is wrong" but continued to bring in more underage girls?
Of course Harvey Weinstein is in this shyt

I was more interested in his political connections, how me amassed his wealth, and how he kept avoiding sentences and getting off. But this would require a 10 part series with incredible access to his private dealings.

super disappointing. i wasnted to know more about the fact he clearly has a ton of blackmail material on prominent men. not the say i didn't care about the victims... but maybe cut 3 out and gimmie more of that "holy shyt, how the hell did this guy live like a goddamn king all those years" stuff.
