Why should we match?

8 million a year for a PG with limited actual PG skills? He's an athlete with skill, but plays timid & doesn't run an offense effectively in the half court. Teague's a slightly above average player, 8 million a year for 4 years isn't worth it for Teague, especially if he doesn't want to be here

It certainly looks that way. Josh gone, Teague gone, ZaZa gone, Devin Harris gone...we've retained Korver & picked up Millsap. We drafted a PG Dennis Schroeder so that made Teague potentially expendable anyway.

We've decided to go young & make a run at a top college player & top FA next offseason. We'll see what happens, but for right now it's #tankonia

I don't think I can call this a tank, breh. Hawks are still probably gonna get a playoff spot in the East ESPECIALLY if they sign Monte or Jennings. We've just essentially removed players that would block the growth of the youngins'. This year we gonna see John Jenkins, Mike Scott, Schroeder, Muscala, BeBe (if he come over) instead of your Zaza's, Ivan Johnson's, Petro's, Stevenson's, etc. For some reason, I think we gonna be right where we were last year, only with a younger core that can and will grow and get better. Should be entertaining given the expectations won't be as high
