Jeff Nichols (Midnight Special, Mud) wrote and directed this biopic about Virginian interracial couple Richard and Mildred Loving (played by Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga) who were sentenced to prison in 1958 for exchanging vows, and took their plea of civil rights all the way to the supreme court in a landmark trial.



The movie's picking up a ton of buzz at Cannes and is already being considered a front runner for this year's awards season.

Nah, Arcadium is. Despite the crazy stanning its seems the most liberal IMO.

Not sure if "liberal" is the right word, more like "sane" because folks be wilding on the Coli with their weird ass race issues.
