The four longest tenured GM's in the NBA are Pat Riley, R.C Buford, Danny Ainge, and Grunfeld. Riley's Heat have won three titles with two other Finals appearances. Since Buford took the helm in San Antonio, the Spurs have won four titles and appeared in another Finals series. Ainge's Celtics have made the Finals twice, winning once. In stark contrast, Grunfeld's Wizards have won just three playoff series since he took control of the team in June of 2003.

During Grunfeld's tenure in DC, there have been 103 50-win seasons by NBA teams (including a few 50-win pace teams during the lockout-shortened 2011-2012 season). The Wizards have zero of those seasons. Grunfeld's Wizards are one of just six franchises without a 50 win season during his tenure. That list will shrink to five this year barring an implosion by the Raptors. The others? Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Brooklyn and Charlotte. Misery loves company.

During the Grunfeld era, the Wizards have a won less than 42 percent of their games, 25th best in the NBA -- ahead of just New York, Sacramento, Philadelphia, Charlotte and Minnesota.

A lot of this is the ownership and managements fault trying to rush the rebuilding process instead of going naturally. Trading the Lakers pick for Brandon Knight's bird rights was a desperate move to "win now". I like Tyson Chandler in a mentor role at his age but giving him 13 million a year for the next 4 years is way too much.

Hornacek knew the heat was on him. His rotations were all over the place. He was scrambling to find a winning combination. I've seen Booker and TJ Warren get benched for games because Hornacek relied on vets to win. The young core only got consistent minutes after other players got injured.

Sarver better accept the fact that the Suns are not a winning team. Don't rush the process.

Honestly, I see no difference between Brandon Knight and Archie Goodwin.

They're both streaky scorers with low B Ball IQ's/decision making skills.

Plus them selfish niccaz stay hating on young Devin Booker.They never look for him on the court.

Straight tunnel vision out there.I'm glad Jeff is gone.He'd rather play the shytty veteran players.

Only reason Devin Booker started to get burn was because Knight, Bledsoe, and journeyman ass Ronnie Price got injured.

That's going to be Devin Booker's squad going forward.He's already the most competent/adept player on that team IMO.

The gm definitely made some stupid moves..chandler deal was pretty bad too. Morris should be traded already, does he really think he will get something worthy in return, each dayy passing by his stock is falling.

Yep...I honestly think it's all Robert Sarver.The GM/coaches are just his puppets.

Markief shouldn't have even started the season with the Suns.That shyt casted a dark cloud over the franchise and killed team chemistry from the start.It's obvious Markief is half assing it out there, to.He's mentally checked outta Phoenix.

And Chandler is a good locker room guy.Not really a fit on the court, but according to the lames in management "We signed Tyson to be a mentor/leader"

The Suns are delusional.They really think they're a young team on the come up like the '94 Magic...Like Tyson Chandler is Horace Grant or some shyt

Though I do feel Bledsoe is better than Knight, Dragic, and Thomas he should have stayed at the 2,his PG skills are shaky.

Knight is horrible IMO, NBA player for sure,but his selfishness is sickening, dude is a chucker in every sense of the word.

If I'm the Suns I'm getting rid of everyone except Bledsoe,Booker,Warren, Len and Goodwin.

I've narrowed my list down to Booker.

Bledsoe's knees are on borrowed time.Len is one of the biggest goofballs in sports.He turns the ball over every time he attempts a post up move.Some of the worst hands ever, plus he's CONSTANTLY injured.It's always some shyt going on with him....feet, leg, arm....something.

Goodwin is selfish with a nonexistant feel for the game/IQ....turnover machine.I think he'll be a superstar in China soon.

TJ Warren is lazy as hell on defense.He only cares about playing offense.He's the new age Cedric Ceballos.Fun player, put up numbers, but not really a player you can build around.

I think he should have gotten fired because it did seem as though he had lost the team and players started tuning out as shyt went downhill, but there's no excuse for keeping the GM that created a lot of this mess and mismatched parts in the first place.

I think the GM is safe because he basically does whatever Robert Sarver tells him to do.Ryan McDonough is Sarver's puppet.

That's why Steve Kerr told Robert Sarver "fukk you, I'm out!"
