Was him being a healthy walkout of a match, mid match, caught on tape, just because he was tired, not a fireable offense? Personally I wouldn't but based on the industry it's worthy imo

but thats not what he was fired for...he was fired for refusing to go to rehab.

I could see that considering Jeff was at his peak in 09. But I very seriously doubt they care about it these days with both guys almost done, at most they might hate missing out on the merch money but Jeff barely had any merch before they fired him anyway so who knows. I just think them pointing out AEW’s tag division, even going so far as to name the teams there is smark bait bullshyt. Why would anybody in WWE care about who the Hardyz would work with

It's 2022 not 2010. Matt can't hit standing elbow drops and over the past 3 years has more way botches than highlights, he hangs out with jobbers and births more kids than he gets minutes on television. Jeff moves slow like he's in pain, whisper in the wind has never come out slower which is understandable he's older.

You're not getting any good matches out of the Hardy Boyz in 2022. They're not even "Boyz" anymore, they're both pushing 50. And it's been so long since Jeff had a good main title run that I don't think he's bigger than Danielson or Punk. He's still a name but he won't do anything Bryan & Punk hasn't already done.

Hardys & Bucks have already faced off in a Ladder match (IIRC this was their last non-WWE match before they returned in 2017 at Wrestlemania). Plus Darby has been compared to Jeff his entire run; throw in Sting fukkery and it's a no brainer.
