It's kinda odd how rule 34 for celebs has always existed but AI is where the line gets drawn
Not sure how it'll play out in court. Who would be sued? What's the fine? Is there jail time for art?
Midjourney or Dall-E gets sued? How do we know it was made on their website? Not exactly a copyright on these things
How are they responsible? They're just a tool and paintbrush platform. They don't control the user therefore they don't own the art
The guy would be in trouble if there's proof that he actually made money from it
Anyone can make art of public figures as appealing or crass as they want. It would fall under free speech.

Better to nip it in the bud now before they started doing these pics of your favorites. They were probably better off doing this to anybody not named Taylor Swift or Beyoncé. People were saying nothing would happen, imagine some real serious shyt happening because of an AI photo.
