I never understood the joke about this picture. 80% of NY takes the train
It makes sense, but from an optics stand point, him the train, attire, plastic bag,... For a guy with a record deal in the late 80's early 90's it just doesn't look good.

Yeah, I think the bag is the only thing that might be a little funny looking. But in NYC there's tons of multi-millionaires who take the train every day. It's super common. It's the most convenient way to travel in NY if you're going into the city.

Pics of other rappers from his era on the train? Is that a thing?

Probably somewhere. But I can find a bunch of rich celebrities taking the subway like it's nothing

Seeing a famous or rich person on a NYC subway isn't crazy. And all due respect to Jaz-O, he's nowhere near any of these people as far as fame or money. Him taking the subway isn't a big deal or a bad look.

And I answered, I said probably somewhere. I'm just confused why would pictures of other rappers from his era taking the subway help the perception of him taking the subway more than rich and famous people? Are you saying it because of the "image" of a rapper aspect? If so, that's fair.

I'm not trying to take away the perception of famous and rich people being on trains I'm trying to see how often rappers with deals in the late 80's early 90's were on trains in the 2000's. And yes to your last question.
