Josh Jackson is shorter, has shorter arms, is older, has a worse jump shot, and is not as polished when it comes to creating his own shot in one on one situations.

Tatum has a much higher ceiling.

Josh is a better defender, rebounder, athlete and playmaker. Basically the only thing Tatum is better than him at is overall scoring.

Right now Tatum's game commands him to be the #1 option, and you will never win anything unless he's your #2 or #3 guy.

RIGHT NOW. Josh Jackson is also over 1 year older than Jayson Tatum.

Tatum has the bigger body. He's younger. He's more skilled. And he has more room for growth.

Josh Jackson is the guy who will be no better than a #2 or #3 on a team. Jayson Tatum has the potential to be the #1 option on a very good team.

Josh has a lot of potential too. And it doesn't matter how much potential Tatum has, you can't just develop the passing ability and athleticism that Josh has, you're born with it.

If you're taking either of these guys to be the #1 guy on your team then you already lost.

And where is Tatum more skilled? In the post? That is about all I can think of.

1. Tell me what college kid comes in and is a great defender right off the bat? Tatum is long and a decent athlete. He has the potential to be a good defender.

2. 3-point shooting is the easiest thing for a player to improve at the next level.

3. And what type of athletes are D'Angelo Russell and Brandon Ingram? Both went #2 overall. Jayson Tatum is more than good enough as an athlete to be a great player in the NBA.

5. Tell me for a second....what does Kyrie Irving do but score? I find it humorous that a great one on one scorer is being dismissed like its nothing. Scoring one on one against a set defense is the hardest thing to do in basketball. That's why its so valuable to have a player like Tatum on the team. A guy who can get buckets whenever he wants.

Kyrie also isn't anywhere near a transcendent player. Healthy Embiid is transcendent. Lebron and Durant are transcendent.

So Tatum isn't an inconsistent shooter? :what:
So he isn't a top 5 pick who can't work on shooting? Is shooting really worth letting him fall? Since when do we actually care about skill in the draft? This is all about potential.

You were acting like that was untrue.

If we're going off potential, Josh Jackson as a legit 3pt shooter has a much higher ceiling than Tatum with a legit 3pt shot.

But does he have the size to guard 3's or 4's? Tatum has a higher usage for the team.

Josh will be able to guard 1-3 and some small ball/stretch 4s. Tatum will be able to check most 3s, and hopefully 4s in time.

Kyrie didn't win shyt. :mjlol:

Lebron was the best player in that series and led the team back.

Kyrie Irving hit the game winning shot while LeBron watched like the rest of us.

Kyrie won him that championship.
