Not mediocre at all, still the craziest rookie performance ever coming off of saying fukk college free labor, I'm getting paid overseas before anyone else in the league. The guys in his class still reminisce on how he stunted on them, unless someone clearly tops that he'll be able to talk a certain level of shyt to less accomplished guys

He just thinks he's in a tier with the champion/MVP nikkas and he isn't :yeshrug: needs to get in the gym if he gonna be talking crazy cuz them NBA nikkas WILL run down on him during them off-seasons in Seattle
He's not in a tier with all-stars either. He was a journeyman by 26 and washed out the league at 28.

Cats just casually forgetting this dude had a career altering injury, and was playing the best ball of his career/all star level before the injury :what:

All stars have no real legacy beyond getting all stars. So that's why I left them out, any old random all star doesn't have a record nor did they trailblaze a route to the league :yeshrug: the memory of him will last longer

Plenty of nikkas played at higher levels for longer than D. Rose for example, but his legacy is bigger than that

This is how the tiers are in my opinion:

Rings+MVP winners (basically GOAT convo guys)

Rings (as a main option) OR MVP winners

Legit super stars/no hardware
Individual record holders/Cultural impacters

All stars

I'll never forget D.Rose having this dude in tears in HS.

Jennings was at a prep school across the country and Simeon is broke public school in the hood in Chicago and Rose put on a show on national television.

What a time

:wow:

Joe Mazzulla was asked about former players taking shots at the current generation: "Sometimes the older you get, the better you were as a player. You forget, like – and that’s everybody, people say that. So if we all just kind of remembered what we were then we probably wouldn’t have so many opinions of other people."

Damn.

That's a fire line and at the heart of a lot of the shytty discourse between the old and new generation, players and fans. Like, there could be some truth/valid criticism on a topic but then ppl end up going overboard with the holier than thou/grass was greener in my day ish

I disagree. Talent, pace and three point attempts is why those guys average so many points. Tatum is only 1.5FGA per game away from being the league leader in shots, and he’s .5 three point attempts away from leading the league in 3 point attempts. His scoring wouldnt change much on another team.

Tatum almost takes more 3s per game than Curry. Thats absolutely a wild stat, considering Steph is known for being a shooter and finesse player.

Tatum averages 20.3 Shots per game. Lamelo Ball averages 24.6 shots per game, 3PA Lamelo 13.2 and Tatum 10.4. I know you hate the fact Tatum already better than Paul Pierce ever was at 26, every night climbing through the Celtics all time Ranks on a different statistical category but lets call a spade A spade.
