If I had to relate to Jay to respect the man's accomplishments, it woulda never happened. I was a teenager riding a bus to school when this nikka was rappin' about drivin' Lexuses and doin' videos on boats 'nshyt. He was talkin' about jewelry I couldn't even point out in a store window. So whether he's rappin' about Lexuses in '96 or pushin' his wife on some big-ass swing in 2012, whether I can relate to it means jackshyt. I just can't see where it should have some bearing on what I think of him as an individual.
