every scout has said Jackson is the most athletic wing in the past 12 years.

By the time Jackson finishes growing he's gonna be a 3. Dude is nice as hell off both baselines too.
Jackson should reclass too. It does him no good to stay in 2016..reclass and get to the league quicker.
well i can only go from what i've seen. i watched him play one FULL game in high school (state championship game last year) and several games during the past u17 FIBA champinships in dubai. and he is no where close to the athlete wiggins was. some cats from his own class like jayson tatum are more athletic IMO.
what makes josh special is his skill level at a young age is phenomental. his ballhandling and smooth jump shot. he's more skilled to me than physical freak.

true. 2017 is already stacked even without him. he needs to go to 2016 cause he coudl easily go #1 in that class. if he stays in 2017, Maker, Giles, Smith Jr., and even Taytum could go ahead of him.
i can only go by what i see. and admittedly i've only seen these guys play in the u17 fiba tournament and in josh's case his high school title game in lansing last year cause i was visiting family and saw the game on local television.
jayson tatum looked slightly more athletic. i was also impressesed by terrance ferguson. another athletic 6'7" sg that not many people are talking about. those two guys looked just as tall, athletic, and fluid as josh.
but then again, like i said this was simply one tournament. we won't know much about these kids till we seem em college.

I'm not sure if Josh Jackson is a better athlete than Wiggins but he's in that same tier of athlete and he has a stronger handle. Looks special.
I don't think Jackson is as much of a freak athlete as Wiggins in neither explosiveness or length, but he's a great prospect.
I just like Brown's game though, if he doesn't get himself hurt with how active he plays, he'll be a force. He doesn't back down, he's like a 6'7" Marcus Smart
edit: by the way, Jackson's talent from an offensive perspective is reminiscent of T-Mac, to piggyback off of what somebody else said. I won't really be able to truly digest how I feel about either one of them until I see them against elite talent.
If it comes down to just potential though Parker and Wiggins were still better prospects IMO, shame that Parker went down with a torn ACL.

you could pull up the same tweets about wiggins being the next lebron 2 years ago. these high school scouts are known for hyperbole. every year there's some cat coming out that is the best they've ever seen. i think ou should judge the kid when you've seen him play rather than taking someone else's word.
from what i've seen, josh is nice but he ain't unprecedented. the most freakish athlete in the 2017 class is dennis smith jr. now that guy you could say is the most athletic we've seen in 10 years.

yup t-mac is a great comparison for jackson...but he currently is an equal if not better athlete than wiggins. Much more fluid/smooth and a much better handler as well. I think you're really underrating how explosive he is. Both he and wiggins are great 2nd and 3rd jump athletes, but wiggins tends to look very awkwardly mechanical alot of the time.
He is not unprecedented, but there hasn't been a 2/3 come out like him in years other than wiggins...and i think he's better than wiggins right now...dennis smith is the best athlete at point guard regardless of class, but kwe parker is overall the most freakishly athletic guard.
