cuz its true. if you can play you will at least flash. CJ Stroud came in to a team many thought was devoid of talent.
AR for all the rawness has flashed a ton of his arm and dynamic playmaking
kyler didnt have to sit out to show great traits. purdy came in as a third string rookie to start the season with zero reps and had no problems running the offense.

the times where a qb looks like complete ass right away with very little flashing but then drastically improves are far less common. goff is probably the only example of that in recent years

JD is great, but any QB can be in a bad situation and not thrive. Happens more often than not.
