I'm sure he himself was an investor along with a bunch of other people so I'm sure he didn't lose anywhere close to half a billion, if he lost anything at all. From what I understand all of them legal shops are failing out there, open one day closed the next. :heh: I don't smoke so I don't know what the issue is, hopefully somebody from out there can shed some light on the industry in Cali.

You mean the "C-suite executive (the chief visionary officer) at TPCO” isn’t invested? :lupe:

He hasn't been associated with that company for 2 years according to that article and it was a partnership that included 3 companies which then went through a startup campaign and that's how they came up with the cash.

Did you read the article you posted? I'm no Jay Z apologist but the article doesn't support what you're saying at all.
hey bro…this shyt is kinda crazy...

"However, plenty of operators are working very hard to build or rightsize fundamentally sound businesses. The most recent illustration of this is a restructured deal between Jay-Z and TPCO, also known as The Parent Company. As part of the arrangement, Jay-Z, Roc Nation and Monogram will return roughly 7.1 million GRAMF shares, which will help TPCO save around $33.5 million in top-line costs over eight years."

:patrice:

Sounds like Hov/Roc Nation lost AT LEAST 34 million :wow:
