Not sure where the mentality comes from but it's spot on, I see it constantly time and time again....
I remember a few months ago I came up with the idea to start a visiting inhouse phone repair service(screens, etc..)... and this dude was like nahh people have insurance now and its not worth it and yada yada, and lo and behold a few weeks ago I seen a commercial advertising that very same thing...
not saying dude swayed me from it, I just didn't have the drive or know how to get it going....or maybe it wouldn't have been much anyway(who knows).... but my point stands with your own shooting your shyt down before its even an idea... that's why u surround yourself with like minded people, if anytime u bring up an idea to make money or something and there's this person that always begins their sentence with, "nahhh, this that and the third"...you know what to do

I really have stopped listening to his music the past 4-5 albums. He has cuts here and there but his music has been way too pretentious for me.

However, with that said. Especially those last 20 seconds of the video has reignited my interest in what he has to say. I would prefer this version of Jay to resonate through 100% of his music from now on.

If you got gems and life lessons, drop em. But don't follow that up with extra pretentious, poor shaming and misogynistic rhymes....


Ehhh, just the 31 year old version of me venting. I know yall respect him and his music, so I'll fall back.
